Chokers are definitely a trend I’ve been seeing recently. I normally don’t hop on trends right away but I do try them every now and then to see if it’s right for me and to see what all the hype is about.

I’m a 90s gal and I definitely remember wearing the black plastic necklace chokers with the matching bracelets. Everybody had them and I thought they were literally the coolest accessory ever. And surprise surprise they’re back! I do love them but I feel like I’ve seen it on everybody and it doesn’t feel as unique or special anymore.

I recently partnered up with Veronika and fell in love with their Leith Choker (Crystalline). I love statement pieces that you can’t find anywhere and this necklace is so beautiful, I couldn’t resist not showing it off. I absolutely love the elegant and sophisticated style of the glass pendant and gold chain. It’s such a great accessory to pair up with a plain outfit because the necklace speaks for itself.

This is a gorgeous choker that I would wear for a fancy event or dinner. I also prefer gold over silver so this is an accessory that goes well with my personal style. I feel extremely confident and sassy wearing it and it’s amazing how a piece of jewelry can bring you a sense of confidence and even power.

I also love the fact that the actual necklace has a clasp on the back to adjust the tightness and width. A big concern I had with chokers was that the uncomfortable aspect since it normally fits right around your neck, which seems like there’s no room to breathe.

However that’s not the case with this necklace from Veronika because I didn’t feel any discomfort whatsoever.
