NOVEMBER 2021 GOALS

We only have two more months of 2021 and I am excited to end this year strong with my November personal goals. October has been an insane month for me, but it was also very rewarding and productive. I was in Istanbul and Cappadocia for about half of the month, which accounts for October being so jammed packed. However, I can’t complain because I always believe there’s a season for events and October was certainly one of them!

REFLECTING ON OCTOBER GOALS

I created three personal goals for myself in October and I didn’t successfully complete them. The beauty of reflecting is that I can actually take a step back to see how I currently feel. I purposefully write out my monthly goals to hold myself accountable, but I never put too much pressure on myself if I don’t check them out. For example, I was planning to hold a masterclass on branding. However, due to travels and other pressing projects, that became less of a priority. I wanted to visit the Catskills as my second goal, which I have successfully completed! The last thing I wanted to do was go apple/ pumpkin picking. I did that to a certain extent in the Catskills so it was a great way to wrap up fall and October.

NOVEMBER 2021 GOALS

For this month, I will be taking it slow. I had a lot on my plate in October, so I always find it beneficial to do the opposite. Mental health and self care have always been my top priorities. I also believe in putting myself above work. With that beings said, here are my four main goals for the month of November:

  • Wrap up projects: I am grateful that I have a lot of work projects, but I am trying to manage the deadlines better. The best approach is to start them earlier and not leave them for last minute. I’ve never been a procrastinator, but I am making more of an effort to tie in loose ends. I also have been getting a head start on all of them so I feel better about my work load throughout the week.
  • Enjoy Caribbean CruiseI am actually embarking on a Caribbean Cruise on the first week of November. Even though it’s work related, I am still trying my best to enjoy the sun especially since I’ll be returning to cold weather in NYC. When it comes to traveling, I try my best to be present and remove stress out of my vocabulary.
  • Start holiday content/ shoppingAs someone who enjoys the holidays, I don’t want to wait until December to start creating holiday content or holiday shopping. When I return from my cruise, I will make it a priority to schedule days for content. At the same time, I will start to slowly do my holiday shopping so I don’t get too overwhelm come December.
  • Enjoy ThanksgivingThis is pretty self explanatory but I love Thanksgiving. It’s a great time to indulge in food and in pumpkin pie! I also appreciate the gratitude that comes with celebrating.

In conclusion, I am excited to tackle my November goals. Mostly because I have decided that it will be a great month! It can be overwhelming to write out your goals for the month, but it’s all about mindset. You have control over your mindset so get excited for the next month and start goal setting now!
