MAY 2021 GOALS

Oh hello May! It’s so great to meet you 🙂 I always look forward to May because it’s the first month that the weather starts to become consistent and I’m all about that sunshine. Usually the months seem to fly by, but I can actually say that April felt like it lasted 30 days and I enjoyed last month to the fullest. I guess partially that’s due to the fact that I was in Mexico for 10 days, so that gave me a change of scenery, but I think overall, it was a great month.

We are approaching the first half of 2021, which puts into perspective how valuable time is. I can tell that I mentally and emotionally grew in April and I am welcoming the beautiful change that’s in my horizon. As I look back at my April goals, I can’t help, but laugh a little because those are similar goals that I wanted to carry into May, which just goes to show that I didn’t exactly accomplish them. With that being said, I’m okay with that because reflecting on my progress is the best way to also check in with what did go well.

Last month, I wanted to finalize my cover and I am almost there! I should be receiving my options this weekend and I will officially approve it by next week, so I’m really excited about that 🙂 I also wanted to do more Instagram Lives and I’m so happy that I have accomplished that even with my time away. I have been consistent with my #STOPASIANHATE live series and I’m starting to pick up my personal development and dating one. My other goal was to start Tik Tok which I have done and I am actually loving the platform! I did however, not finish Obama’s A Promised Land, because I honestly have been prioritzing other work ahead but I will add this to May’s goal.

MAY GOALS:

  • Do a weekend getaway trip: I know it seems like I just came back from Mexico a week ago, but I do want to do a weekend getaway trip, perhaps during Memorial Day Weekend. I think it would be great to go somewhere local in a car and explore a new location that I haven’t so far.
  • Do some NYC activities: Now that the weather is getting warmer and things are slowly opening up, I’d love to do some NYC activities and explore what the city has to offer during this time. My goal within this goal is to do one activity once a week! I am also planning to utilize those experiences as content for Tik Tok.
  • Read more: I have been slacking on my reading game and I need to start prioritizing this back into my schedule. I didn’t finish Obama’s book and to be honest, I don’t think I opened it up at all last month. However, I have it on my night stand so that should be a good reminder to read nightly, even if it’s only a few pages a day.

I’m keeping my goals for May simple because I have a strong feeling that a lot of things that I have been working on and manifesting will start to come my way. I was planting all my seeds during April and I am ready to watch them grow and blossom this month. I would love to hear what your goals are for the month of May!

  • These are all great goals! I would love to find more time to read more too!

    • I actually started to swap watching tv at night for reading and it's been wonderful to get this goal in!

  • I share your enthusiasm for May, especially since live seems to be opening up again as we slowly exit pandemic restrictions. A weekend trip would be good medicine for our morale. I highly recommend places like Hudson, NY (which is about two hours north of New York) or the Finger Lakes region of upstate (which is about a half-day drive). Both are fun, full of art and have wonderful places to enjoy.

    • Yes I have been to Hudson and loved it! I haven't been to Finger lakes but that sounds like a great place too :)

    • I couldn't agree more Pablo! Writing them down always helps me out :)

  • I wish you all the best for this month.
I hope you can succeed all your goals. Just like you I always look forward to read more books.
Your pictures are beautiful. I hope you're gonna be able to travel again very soon.
    xx
