MAKE UP REVOLUTION REVIEW

Can you believe that the holidays are right around the corner? I love this time of year because brands come out with fabulous limited edition collections that are well worth your money. The Makeup Revolution Jewel Collection is no exception. They have knocked it out of the park this glamorous collection. The stunning sparkling packaging is just an added bonus to what’s inside. The collection includes three lip toppers, three jelly highlighters, and my personal favorite, the three eyeshadow palettes.

The lip toppers ($6) come in three shades: Fortune, Exquisite, and Luxurious. All of them are extremely reflective and perfect to add on top of any lipstick to give it that extra special something. Fortune is a silver, Exquisite is a gold, and Luxurious is a rose gold. While they are stunning, if you are looking for a product where you cannot feel the grittiness of the product this is definitely not it. Because there are so many reflective you can feel the texture of the micro glitters. However, it is still definitely worth it because of how gorgeous they are.

The jelly highlighters ($9) come in a similar three-color set up: Dazzling (silver), Monumental (gold), Prestigious (rose gold). If you have ever wanted to go to highlighter heaven, this product would take you there. This is such an amazing dupe for the Farsali highlighter that comes in a similar consistency. You need such a small amount to give you that beaming glow on your cheekbones and the container has so much product in it. I doubt anybody can go through one jar alone, so it’s definitely a product that will last you a lifetime! 

The three eyeshadow palettes are my favorite item out of everything in this collection. Each palette comes with six large pans of reflective metallics and 14 smaller pans of shimmers, satins, and mattes as well as a large mirror. Can you believe these are retailing for $15 each? I can guarantee that these are going to be a huge hit for Makeup Revolution this holiday season. The first palette is Gilded which is your perfect eyeshadow palette for the everyday warm bronzey tones with several pops of color. The second is Opulent which is a cooler-toned palette which will be super flattering on lighter skin tones. The third and my personal favorite is Deluxe which is filled with warm rosy and cranberry shades. Each of these palettes has everything you need to for a full eye look without having to dip to into other eyeshadows, which makes them perfect for travel as well!

Can you tell I’m really excited about these products? Personally, Makeup Revolution has never really peaked my interest, but I immediately fell in love with the products once I discovered them. I am also blown away by the price point because the quality is so amazing. After trying out some of their products, I am definitely going to try to get my hands on more Makeup Revolution!
