HIGH WAISTED TROUSERS

My all time favorite look involves high waisted pants, specifically trousers or slacks. I just think they make a great sophisticated look and depending on how you style it, you definitely can look stylish and fashionable effortlessly. These Chambray pants are from American Apparel and I love the color because the faded blue adds a nice subtleness.

These pants are super versatile as I have worn them to both work and going out and during warmer months as well as colder months. I wore a black plain sweater because I think the only way to pull this look off is with solid colors. Of course, I had to wear my pointy booties from Enzo Angiolini to tie my outfit together. Booties and high waist pants help petite people like myself appear and feel taller. I also think this outfit strangely helps with better posture as you feel longer and ready to own the world.
