TOP THREE FAVORITE STORES TO SHOP AT

I love clothing, but I hate shopping. Can any of you guys relate? I rarely shop in stores because I don’t have the patience to look through racks, try on clothing and then stand online to pay for it. I prefer shopping online at the convenience of my home because I am able to filter clothing to my sizes and styles. Most of the time, there is also free returns so I don’t feel too bad if I order the same item in two different sizes or styles that I am unsure about.

Here are my top favorite three places to shop at:

  1. ASOS: I love ASOS mainly because it has a petite section and I think it one of the only online stores that have this category. I absolutely love their clothing as well because they are stylish, affordable and fit me perfectly. I am also a huge fan of their runway video because it shows exactly how the item looks on a model and in action. I hate when stores have clothing on mannequins because it is usually fitted well with clips in the back. ASOS also have regular sales so it’s a great destination to shop all year round.
  2. ZARA: Who doesn’t love ZARA? Zara is my go to store for everything and anything. I live by Soho and there’s a huge new Zara that opened last year and I am constantly there. Zara is also the only store that I will prefer to shop in person than online because to be honest, I don’t really like their online layout and shopping experience. I love their wide range of items and everything usually seems to be in style or in trend. It is very difficult to go in and not come out with at least one purchase.
  3. LULUS: Lulus is my go to spot when I am looking for something fancy or a specific dress for a special occasion. They have regular items too but I prefer their dresses because they have styles for all events. I got my graduation dress from Lulus and several dresses for weddings. They also have cute summer dresses so before the summer starts, I normally visit their website to see what I can stock up for.

  • Asos is a pretty great store. I actually should check out that store more often since they have a variety of stuff that definitely fit my size! OMG Zara is sooo good for finding pieces in the neutral color palette. :) My two favorite stores are Nasty Gal and Topshop. I really like Nordstrom as well.

    • I love nastygal for special occasion clothing. Top shop is also good especially since it's right near where I live but I love Zara the best for style and price!

  • Great studded skirt and pop of red! You look lovely! I adore ZARA. I'm a total sucker for that store and can spend over an hour browsing and trying things on. Asos is one of my favourites as well. I honestly get stuck shopping for a really long time on that site though. There's so many great pieces! Lulus is also an amazing one. :) Funny enough, I actually prefer shopping online, except for ZARA. The selection is always so much better in stores to me.

  • I'm exactly the same as you. Love fashion, but hate shopping. It's kind of an oxymoron really, so just like you, I do most of my shopping online. I have to add yet another store to that list though if you're looking for basic, contemporary and affordable fashion: H&M.

    • I like shopping at H&M, but not online. I feel like their sizing is always a little off so I have to physically try it in stores before purchasing them.

  • I love Zara and Asos too, but I also like Nordstroms because of their stellar return policy. My fav online stores to shop at are also Shopbop and Revolve. I haven't shopped at Lulu's ever before but will definitely look into it. Love the studded mini skirt and that red bag! xoxo, Christine
