THE POWER OF MANIFESTATION

I’ve been on my spiritual journey for quite some time now and I must say it’s been a beautiful journey thus far. What I’ve noticed through therapy, meditation, journaling and consuming podcasts and reading articles that talk about mindset, manifestation and energy, is that self development will always be a journey and there will be moments of lows and highs just like life. What I have found difficult about the process is that I have adopted the mentality of being very understanding of my actions, beliefs, thoughts and feelings, which I have applied to others, and sometimes I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt and justify their behaviors based off circumstances. In doing that, I have abandoned some of my boundaries, but I am learning the importance of being true to them.

A mantra that I discovered that changed my life that I also wanted to share was:

I don’t chase. I attract. Whatever is meant for me will find its way to me.”

I have this written on my fridge and everyday I wake up and see the phrase. I also say it in my mind every time I pass by it and when I say it, I am feeding my brain with that possibility and with that reminder.

I share that mantra because it basically summarizes the power of manifestation. And I’m sure a lot of us hear about manifestation but I have been a huge advocate for it because once I started to apply it into my life, I have seen the benefits. Manifestation is not just about calling in what you want in life, but it’s about visualizing it and truly feeling it already in existence. I did the bare minimum when I first discovered what manifestation was and I thought it was simply saying ‘I am going to manifest this’ and magically thinking it would come to life. But I’ve realized, there is work and effort that goes behind in it. And I wanted to share a simple story. As some of you might know, I just moved into an apartment a little over a month ago and I needed to sell some furniture. Since I live in a studio, it was important for me to get rid of them as quickly as possible since they were taking up room. I didn’t rush the process and gave it about a month. I just had this feeling that this was going to be the week and I wrote the following in my planner: I am so happy that my couch and coffee table is sold so I can now make room for new furniture that complete my apartment. And when I was reading it, it didn’t seem unrealistic or far from reach. I literally felt energetically that that was my reality.

And as you can guess, I ended up selling both my couch and coffee table the beginning of that week and yes it could be a coincidence but I truly felt that I manifested that into reality due to my belief. This is just one small example, but I find that the key to manifestation is the genuine feeling and the visualization. When I started to combine knowing how it would feel to have whatever I want happen as well as visualizing exactly what it looks like (and all the senses that came with it), I was essentially living life as if I already had it. It wasn’t something I was longing for or craving, but rather calling it into existence and making it reality.

I also had a meditation that spoke about the power of our minds and thoughts that stuck with me. If you’re like me, you often overthink and spend a lot of time in your head. Since I know this about myself, I make sure that my mind is a healthy place that houses sacred energy, much like a home. Our thoughts curate our beliefs which manifests into our reality. I was always aware of that, but I didn’t fully understand that notion until recently.

So the next time, you’re stressed or feel like your life isn’t on track, then ask yourself, how are you feeling and why? And then try to reprogram yourself to adopt a different mindset and change the narrative so your thoughts aligns with who you are at your core. Then start to manifest whatever you want as if it’s already in existence and I promise you, you’ll see the power of manifestation just as I have!
