NUZEST QUICK VITA KICK REVIEW

I have a great interest in nutrition and wellness and recently did some research on the benefits of cacao beans because I wasn’t sure what the difference was between cocoa beans and cacao. The beans that cacao powder is made from are known as cocoa beans. So in simple terms, cocoa is the main bean, but when you make a powder or anything out of it, it is known as cacao. Cacao beans are great for everyone because they are rich in natural antioxidants. To my surprise, cacao beans have been proven to lengthen human longevity, so make sure to stock up on cacao powder into your daily diet because this chocolate is good for your overall health.

Since cacao is made in the form of a powder, there are many different ways that you can incorporate the powder into your daily routines.  The simplest and easiest way to do so is to add it into your smoothies whether it be in the morning or right after the gym. I recently discovered Nuzest when I was looking to switch from whey protein to pea protein/ plant protein. I am a fan of their Clean Lean Protein because it doesn’t give me the bloat that whey protein normally does. I don’t normally drink protein shakes, rather I love mixing it into my oatmeal or making protein pancakes with it. Nuzest recently launched their new Quick Vita Kick, so I knew I had to give it a try.

More than just a multi, Quick Vita Kick is a complex multi-nutrient drink designed to give you that extra boost of vitality when you most need it. With 60+ recognizable ingredients, it’s a potent blend of carefully selected greens, fruits, vegetables and berries; plus, pre and probiotics, digestive enzymes and a full range of essential vitamins and minerals to support health and vitality.

I am a huge advocate for wellness and love to incorporate nutrients and vitamins into my diet. I thought this would be the perfect product to add into my smoothies since I’ve read many benefits to cacao, which I’ve listed below:

  • It contains anandamide, which is a mood enhancer
  • Great for the heart
  • Lowers blood pressure
  • Better digestion
  • Has 40 x antioxidants as blueberries
  • Full of magnesium
  • More calcium than cow’s milk
  • Highest plant based source of iron
  • Boosts human longevity

My go to recipe with this Vita Quick is from the company’s suggested tip, which is blending  Quick Vita Kick with a banana (for carbohydrates), coconut oil (for good fats), and Clean Lean Protein for a healthy meal replacement or snack. I think cacao flavor can be a little strong depending on how many scoops you add so I love mixing the banana and Clean Lean Protein because it helps to make the flavor less subtle and overpowering. I normally drink this in the afternoon when I need a pick me up or in the morning after a workout along with some eggs. It has been very filling and I also feel more energized due to the vitamins. I actually prefer this over coffee, which is a surprise switch.

If you are a fan of mint chocolate chip, this is the right powder drink for you. I personally love mint chocolate chip but ice cream usually has too much sugar in it but this mint cacao powder is very healthy. For under $50, you get 15 servings from Quick Vita Kick, which comes to about under $4 dollars a drink! The price for the powder is extremely reasonable and is an easy way to get your nutrients in for the day! I love that this powder mix is full of vitamins, minerals, greens, fruits and veggies, so if you’re interested, use my code ‘mariann’ which will give you 15% off and free shipping over $50.

Let me know if you guys have ever incorporated cacao into your diet or smoothies and if you have any healthy tips for the summer!

    • Oh this would be an amazing alternative for you then! You can also use almond milk to mix it with :)

  • I've never tried protein drinks before, but this Quick Vita Kick sounds like a great way to take more proteins! I love a cacao flavor mixed with banana, sounds like a delicious drink to me!

    • There's not much of a difference when it comes to taste with protein drinks and smoothies. It's all about the ingredients that you combine so I'm sure you'll love it :)

  • I am a fan of powders because they pack a punch in terms of getting what you need. I like adding them to smoothies as well so I can get my daily intake of veggies and fruits while I am at it. I haven't heard of this brand but I know you are really into your fitness and health, so I will definitely check them out. Who doesn't love cacao flavored anything? This sounds like it would be great with peanut butter too! =). xoxo, Christine

    • Yes adding peanut butter would be amazing! I love the combination of banana, caocao and peanut butter. I think I'll go make a smoothie right now actually :)

  • Seriously I had no idea cacao was that good for our bodies! What came as shockingly good news was the fact that it contains more calcium than milk. As someone who doesn't drink milk that alone would be a reason for me to try the Vita Kick products, but the rest of the list was just as good so I'll definitely need to give it a try :)

    • You can barely taste it if you add it into your smoothies. It's also a great way to start the day :)

  • I would love incorporating something healthy like this into my diet, but I'm not a huge fan of mint or chocolate chip. Probably the only one that exists who doesn't like either, haha! I wonder if it comes in a vanilla flavor? If so, I am pretty much sold!

    • Mint chocolate isn't for everyone and I wonder if you are a fan of caocao flavor. It's a little bitter but I think there are a lot of smoothie options and there has to be one that you must like@

    • I love that you are trying to get more healthy and I think this would be a great post work out snack for you :)

  • Agh I must try this! I'm always looking for new things to try cause I'm attempting to be healthier. Sounds perfect for after my workout. Thanks for sharing!

    • You're welcomed! Definitely look into adding this into your next smoothie :)

  • Okay, I'm sold! I definitely need to try this out! Even though I eat pretty healthy, the biggest fear I have with regards to my diet is if I'm getting enough of the right vitamins and nutrients into my body. It's good to know this seems to have it all in one scoop; and I love mint chocolate chip!!
