For some reason, when I think of St. Patrick’s Day, I think of the color lime green. I know people like to celebrate the holiday by wearing green, but I’m honestly not a big fan of that color. However, I still like to get into the spirit by participating in the dress code. I decided to wear this dark forest green blouse with lace sleeves as it fits more of my style. It’s not a bright green top that screams for attention, but it’s subtle, simple and pretty.
If I were going to a St. Patrick’s Day event, then I would definitely wear something a little more fun. However, since I was going to work, I wanted to keep my outfit in the more causal side. I definitely find the holiday enjoyable because most people do wear green and I love the fact that people in the United States get into it, even though it’s more of a religious and cultural celebration in Ireland.
